I have been denied access to my children that are minors for the last 2years and have also not spoken to them, children aged 10,9 and 7, I don’t know if they are still alive or if they are dead because all access has been blocked, I just hear from the grapevine that they were being sexually abused and verbally abused by the maid that was given custody of them, the same maid that has taken me to court, I am in pains and my health deteriorating because of the amount of torture that I am receiving from the other side. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif;">I will not mention the things that are before the courts but the issue of my children was dismissed by the Supreme Court, I was given custody of my children by the High Court which is the custodian of all minor children in Zimbabwe according to our “Constitution” and was thrown out the door by the above, same Superior court dismissed Frank Buyanga’s appeal to denie his wife access to their minor son and ordered to bring him back. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif;">I am have been dubbed a drug addict by the one that introduced them to me as he was taking them, is it possible for me to have been doing that with him just observing, who was administering, even those that work with him know that he is the biggest user of opioids including his deputy in the health department. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif;">I have approached the current many times, he has done nothing and has completely ignored me, citing reasons that his subordinate does not take instructions from him, who is the boss now??? If E.D.M wanted to help me, he would have done so, a long time ago because he knows there is no grain of truth in all these fabrications, he has put me out in the open to be terminated, he promised vehicles, security, accommodation since I am being denied access to my homes and all my bullet proof vehicles taken from me, money and all but Absolutely Nothing.. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif;">His private doctor E.D.M even advised him 18months ago to send me outside the country for my hands to be operated and he completely ignored it, my own President can’t save me, ELIMINATION IS AT MY DOORSTEP. I AM SEEKING ASSISTANCE FROM ALL THOSE THAT ADVOCATE FOR CHILDREN’S RIGHTS TO BE GIVEN MY CHILDREN BEFORE I AM KILLED, DEAD OR ALIVE, I WANT THEM IN MY CUSTODY. <p><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: times new roman, times, serif;">Her remarks come amid reports that Chiwenga leads a faction that is pushing for Mnangagwa’s ouster. The ruling party acknowledges that there are frictions within the party but denies that there is bad blood between Mnangagwa and his deputy. </span></p>

Chiwenga Does Not Take Orders From Mnangagwa - Marry Chiwenga

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: times new roman, times, serif;">Zimbabwean president, Emmerson Mnangagwa, has been advised not to contest the 2023 election due to his advanced age.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: times new roman, times, serif;">TheNewsHawks reports that prominent corporate executive Caleb Dengu who is a homeboy and an ally of Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga, gave the advice in a book titled The Bridge — Pathway To New Zimbabwe. Dengu said:<br/>

You can choose to remain as First Secretary of Zanu PF to assist with generational transformation of leadership in the party and government. Given the demography of the country, the nation requires younger leadership to run the country. You have an opportunity to identify competent young talent in the 40-60-year range to take over positions in both government and Zanu PF. The recommended leadership can be security-cleared by our National Security Council (NSC).</span></span></p>

This will stop dissent and leadership challenges in the party ranks. Your government is mostly undermined by the Zanu PF elite rather than opposition members.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: times new roman, times, serif;">Dengu, a RioZim Limited board vice-chair said Mnangagwa should visit provinces not just in his capacity as President and Zanu PF official, but as someone seeking to regularise his unlawful position as party leader. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: times new roman, times, serif;">Dengu speaks as Mnangagwa has been dragged to the High Court by a ZANU PF member, Sybeth Musengezi, over his “unlawful” rise to power in 2017.</span></p>

Mnangagwa Must Not Contest The 2023 Presidential Election’ - Chiwenga's Ally

<p><span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Vice President Constantino Chiwenga who doubles as the Health minister has triggered an amendment to the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Act to exclude the Auditor-General from the special procurement oversight committee.</span><br/>
<span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif; font-size: 14pt;"> </span><br/>
<span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Cabinet Tuesday accepted the principles for the amendment of the legislation implying that the law will not be sent to the Attorney General’s office for drafting.</span><br/>
<span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif; font-size: 14pt;"> </span><br/>
<span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif; font-size: 14pt;">The law provides for control and regulation of public procurement and disposal of public assets to ensure it is transparent, fair, honest, cost-effective and competitive.</span><br/>
<span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif; font-size: 14pt;"> </span><br/>
<span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Speaking during the Tuesday Post-Cabinet media briefing in Harare, Information minister Monica Mutsvangwa said the act in its current form does not sufficiently provide for capacity building of staff employed in public procurement roles, hence the often unsatisfactory compliance which undermines the integrity of public procurement processes. She said:</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif;">Cabinet has agreed that the Auditor General be excluded from the membership of the Special Procurement Oversight Committee. This is because one of the Auditor General’s functions in terms of section 309 of the Constitution is to audit the accounts, financial systems and financial management of all departments, institutions and agencies of Government as well as provincial and metropolitan councils and all local authorities.</span></p>
</blockquote>
<p><span style="font-family: times new roman, times, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Cabinet observed that:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif;"> the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) should not serve as secretary to the Board of the State Procurement Oversight Committee.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif;">The stand-still period, whereby procuring entities were not allowed to do anything for 14 days to allow for the challenging of the award, will also be reduced to seven days if the amendments are effected.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: comic sans ms, sans-serif;">On Disposal of Assets to Employees, there is a loophole in the current Act which leaves room for close family members to manipulate the disposal of public assets.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: times new roman, times, serif;">The move to amend the law is widely believed to be part of government efforts to cut the influence of Auditor-General Mildred Chiri, who has been constant in exposing of widespread mismanagement of public funds.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: times new roman, times, serif;">Recently, Chiwenga was accused of attempting to prevent the tabling in Parliament of the Audit report which exposed the abuse of COVID-19 funds by officials in the Health ministry. </span></p>

VP Chiwenga Triggers Exclusion Of Auditor-General From Special Procurement Oversight Committee

<p>President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s spokesperson, <a href="https://twitter.com/Jamwanda2/status/1422133093587210241">George Charamba has dismissed reports</a> that suggest that Vice President Constantino Chiwenga was ill.</p>
<p>The reports say Chiwenga flew to China for his routine medical check-up as well as some meetings with officials in that country.</p>
<p>The NewsHawks report that someone from Chiwenga’s delegation tested positive for COVID-19 leaving nearly 400 guests inside the hotel in quarantine.</p>
<p>Fears abound that Chiwenga who needs medical attention on his oesophagus could also have contracted the virus.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Charamba dismissed the reports as wishful thinking. He said:</p>

<p>An anonymous source told The NewsHawks that Chiwenga was expected to return to Zimbabwe after 10 days, but now with this latest incident, his itinerary may be changed.</p>
<p>This is not the first time the government has dismissed reports that suggest the former military boss was critically ill.</p>

Mnangagwa's Spokesperson Dismisses Chiwenga's Ill Reports

<p>Defence Minister Oppah Muchinguri has dismissed statements by fellow cabinet minister Monica Mutsvangwa that the government had introduced mandatory vaccination for all civil servants in the health sector.</p>
<p>Mutsvangwa who is the Information minister last week torched a storm when she said the government would withdraw allowances for frontline workers who were not vaccinated against the coronavirus by July 14.</p>
<p>The remarks were also reiterated by Justice minister Ziyambi Ziyambi during a Covid-19 assessment meeting with heads of various government departments in Chinhoyi, Mashonaland West province.</p>
<p>Ziyambi ordered civil servants to get vaccinated for COVID-19 to reduce the impact of the coronavirus or quit their jobs.</p>

<p>Muchinguri, considered as Mutsvangwa’s senior in government circles, said there would not be any forced vaccinations as the programme was purely voluntary.</p>
<p>Responding to questions from journalists during a press conference Friday, Muchinguri said:</p>
<blockquote><p><em>_Forced? We are very pleased by the results we have attained so far from the civil service, and it also translates to the military, the security sector._</em></p>
<p><em>_I would say almost 90% of our security and defence forces are now vaccinated. We are pleased by the response from that sector which you have raised. As it is right now, the demand is outweighing the supply. I think more people realise that there are more benefits to accrue when you are vaccinated._</em></p></blockquote>
<p>Government data shows that only 20% of state employees within the health sector have been vaccinated against Covid-19 as most of them remain sceptical of the jab.</p>
<p>During the weekly post-Cabinet press briefing on Tuesday last week, Mutsvangwa warned civil servants in the health sector that they risked losing their Covid-19 allowances if they failed to get their doses by 14 July.</p>
<p>Mnangagwa had himself also declared previously that “no-one would escape” being inoculated.</p>
<p>Vice president Constantino Chiwenga has also declared that market traders would not be given trading stalls unless they can prove that they have been vaccinated.</p>
<p>However, officially, vaccination remains voluntary across the country.</p>

<p>Mangwana speaks as the Minister of Health and Child Care, Vice President Constantino Chiwenga recently imposed a lockdown on Kwekwe in Midlands after a coronavirus scare.</p>
<p>A businessman in the gold mining town had died after contracting the B.1.617 coronavirus variant that was first detected in India which is famed for spreading more and more rapidly.</p>
<p>The remarks come as Zimbabwe is slowly and cautiously reopening the economy following a year of recurring coronavirus-induced lockdowns that left businesses bleeding.</p>
<p>The largest labour union in the country, <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Zimbabwe_Congress_of_Trade_Unions">The Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU)</a> was sceptical of Mangwana saying the government usually says the opposite of what’s on the ground.</p>

<p>He made the remarks in his 10-minute address at Chilonga Irrigation Scheme during which he urged the local leadership to work with investors. He said:</p>

VP Chiwenga Speaks On Eviction Of Chiredzi Residents

<p>The High Court has postponed Marry Chiwenga’s bail application and appeal hearings, a development that will see the estranged wife of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga spending the weekend in custody.</p>
<p>The former model was already in custody for attempting to kill the vice president, money laundering, externalisation of funds and fraudulently seeking to upgrade her customary union to a civil marriage without her husband’s consent.</p>
<p>The application for bail and appeal hearings were deferred to Tuesday next week.</p>

This was revealed in court today when by her lawyer during cross-examination, according to the publication.</p>
<p>Mubaiwa’s lawyer Taona Nyamakura of Mtetwa and Nyambirai Legal Practitioners hinted the VP was also fighting for part of the properties Marry reportedly bought in South Africa when Nyamakura asked:</p>

Chiwenga Wants A Part Of The Properties Bought By Marry In South Africa - Report

<p>ZANU PF stalwarts are reportedly competing with each other to contribute to the “Welcome party” for Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, a development viewed by some as a way to buy favours.</p>
<p>Chiwenga returned last week after four months in the People’s Republic of China where he was receiving medical attention for suspected poisoning.</p>
<p>There were reports suggesting that some prominent people in the party were shifting allegiance when they heard that Chiwenga’s health had further deteriorated.</p>
<p>Zim Morning Post reports that the party is scheduled for this Saturday in Wedza which is Chiwenga’s rural home. Speaking to the publication, unnamed sources said that the party is a platform for Chiwenga’s loyalists to prove themselves that they were indeed on his side.</p>
<p>This comes amidst reports that the party is marred by factionalism with members distributed amongst President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Chiwenga and Generation 40 (G40).</p>

<p>The Cabinet of Zimbabwe has resolved to do away with the concept of Presidential running mates which it said risked creating two centres of power.</p>
<p>Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi said:</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>You all remember that it was one of the contentious issues when we had our Constitution and it was deferred for 10 years because it is a borrowed concept from America. It is not even an international best practice where you have a President given executive authority, we do not ordinarily want to create a parallel centre of power.</strong></p>

Cabinet Resolves To Scrap "USA-Borrowed" Presidential Running Mates Concept

<p>Mary Chiwenga, the wife of Constantino Chiwenga the Vice President of Zimbabwe has postponed this year’s Miss World Zimbabwe to next year, a decision that will see Zimbabwe not represented at the Miss World finals taking place in London in December.</p>
<p>Mary who is the holder of the pageant’s licence in Zimbabwe said that the decision was made after considering the economic crisis in the country. Miss Zimbabwe Trust administrator Christine Matambo said:</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>Due to the economic hardships that the country is facing, Miss World Zimbabwe has been extended to next year.</strong></p>
<p><strong>We can’t be celebrating when people are crying. The queen is the people’s representative, so when people are crying, she must be crying with them.</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>Matambo added that models who had qualified for the finals will be given first priority next year. He observed however that some might change their minds about the pageant.</p>
<p>Previously, the pageant received funding form various sponsors with some alleging that they wanted to buy favours from the VP who is currently in a Chinese military hospital where he is receiving medical attention for suspected poisoning.</p>

Zimbabwe Not Represented As Mary Chiwenga Postpones Miss World Zimbabwe Pageant

<p>Job Sikhala, the national vice-chairperson of the opposition MDC has said politicians who participated in the military-assisted transition of 2017 which resulted in the demise of the late former president, Robert Mugabe, lacked foresight.</p>
<p>Responding to questions during Thursday’s Town House public discussion on the State of the Nation address forum organised by Voice of America and Media Centre, on why opposition members had taken part in the march, Sikhala said:</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>Exclude me, I did not participate in that nonsense. Firstly, being a scholar of history not as a lawyer alone, knowing well that where the military has taken a leading role in the changing of government, nowhere in Africa have soldiers led a democratic change.</strong></p>
<p><strong>We knew we were going through a military coup and a military coup would only be supported by those people who did not have the eyes to see that we are being taken into a trap of a worse dictatorship</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>MDC leaders who participated in the transition include, the late party founding leader, Morgan Tsvangirai, Fadzayi Mahere and Nelson Chamisa.</p>
<p>Chamisa and Tsvangirai’s late daughter, Vimbai, said that President Emmerson Mnangagwa tricked Tsvangirai into believing that he would set-up a National Transitional Authority (NTA) before 2018 elections were called.</p>

Job Sikhala Mocks Party Leaders For Involvement In 2017 Coup

<p>Surgeons at Parirenyatwa Hospital have conducted a world-record operation after successfully removing from a patient an 11-year-old kidney cyst.</p>
<p>The cyst that weighs 12,3kg is largest to be removed in the world so far with the previous record in Japan where a similar one weighing 11,5kg was removed.</p>
<p>Consultant urologist, Dr Shingirai Meki, who is also a lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe’s College of Health Sciences led the team of local doctors who conducted the surgical procedure.</p>
<p>Speaking to reporters at Parirenyatwa Hospital on Wednesday, the institution’s clinical director, Dr Aspect Maunganidze, said that the country had competent medical professionals that are able to carry out most of the services sourced externally. Maunganidze said:</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>We encourage the members of the public with various ailments to seek medical attention in our health institutions because we still have the experts who can provide such services.</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>The procedure which was performed for only $2000 is estimated to have cost about US$11 000 if it had been conducted outside Zimbabwe.</p>
<p>The development comes when several political elites have been criticised for frequenting foreign medical institutions instead of reviving local ones.</p>
<p>Former president Robert Mugabe who died in a hospital in Singapore where he has been receiving medical attention and Vice President Constantino Chiwenga who is currently in China where he is receiving medical attention are some of the political elites who have received much criticism from members of the public.</p>

Zimbabwean Doctors Successfully Conduct A World Record-Operation

<p>An outspoken Harare preacher Talent Chiwenga who is a cousin to Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has sought an audience with President Emmerson Mnangagwa claiming that he is being followed by alleged State security agents.</p>
<p>Last year, his cousin, the VP warned him against attacking the national leadership using God’s name vowing this was coming to an end. In the letter written on May 27, 2019, Chiwenga said:</p>
<blockquote><p>Sir, I am being followed by unregistered vehicles believed to be from the Central Intelligence Organisation or from the Military Intelligence Department of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, I am receiving death threats almost on a daily basis and this is because I preach the true gospel of Christ that condemns sin and calls all men to repentance, for God is not a respecter of persons.</p>
<p>It is my honest and humble opinion Sir, that the people who are giving orders to military personnel or State security agents to kill me are your employees or your subordinates. I don’t see myself as a security or political threat to anyone in this country, because I am a preacher of the gospel whose tools are the Bible and the microphone.</p>
<p>I am therefore asking to see you so that I may among other things surrender myself to you and your administration so that if I do not get an opportunity to answer to issues I am being stalked and threatened for, at least I will save the government’s tax payers’ money which is being used to stalk me and harass me, if I have to die for the gospel I preach (which I am ready to die for), at least I will avail myself in person.</p></blockquote>
