WATCH: Fadzayi Mahere's Letter To ED

Rutendo Matinyarare representing an anti-sanctions movement branded Zimbabweans Unite Against US War Sanctions (ZUAUWS) has said the report that was published by the Daily Maverick is just meant to tarnish Zimbabwe’s image.
Matinyarare who is believed to be a pro-government activist during the interview with NewZroom Afrika accused the MDC Alliance of being terrorists who he said called for the US to impose sanctions on Zimbabwe.

Twimbos React To Fadzayi Mahere's Arrest

Fadzayi Mahere, the MDC Alliance’s spokesperson has called the controversial return of MDC T 2014 structures Thokozani Khupe to the Parliament of Zimbabwe a fraud since voters rejected Khupe in 2018, New Zimbabwe reports.
In an interview with the publication, Mahere said Khupe who replaced one of the proportional representation MPs she recalled is returning to the parliament using the backdoor after being rejected by voters:
<blockquote>Khupe was rejected by the people in 2018. It is a fraud that she is now returning to parliament through the backdoor and as the leader of a party that beat her by over two million votes. There can be no greater electoral theft than this one.</blockquote>
Mahere also said Khupe’s parliament return was also illegal:
<blockquote>No other person or institution has the mandate or authority to reinstall Khupe into parliament. The result is that parliament is now tainted by the legitimacy crisis.
The biggest victim of this showboating has been the will of the people and the daily struggles that they face, a broken economy, the crisis in education and crippled public health.
To top it all, Zanu PF has banned elections, confirming what we have said all along. Mnangagwa presides over a violent, fascist dictatorship that is at war with the people. Democracy is dead.

Khupe has so far recalled over <a href="https://news.pindula.co.zw/2020/10/01/khupe-recalls-10-mdc-alliance-mps/">84 MDC Alliance councilors countrywide</a> and 31 legislators which she replaced with her allies.

The MDC led by Nelson Chamisa brought the gross error in a Ministry Of Education Primary School approved textbook to Twitter’s attention today and urged the government to recall and correct the book.
The book which is used by the primary school pupils claim that Lovemore Majaivana one of the most popular musicians to ever come out of Matebeleland is late, whilst he is still alive.
Using their official Twitter handle the country’s leading opposition party tweeted:

A picture that has been posted by prominent Lawyer <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Fadzayi_Mahere">Fadzayi Mahere</a> shows that <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Mthuli_Ncube">Mthuli Ncube</a> exempted Huawei Technologies from paying income tax.

Fadzai Mahere posted a picture of the press statement and commented, “Panonetsa” which is Mangudya’s middle name. The name when loosely translated means “it’s problematic”.

How Zimbabweans Reacted To The Extension Of Mangudya's Contract

Constitutional Law expert and former House of Assembly aspirant Fadzai Mahere has poured scorn on ZANU PF. She said that the party has no capacity whatsoever to extricate the country from its economic malaise. Writing on microblogging site Twitter on Monday, Mahere had this to say

Why must a country with gold, diamonds, lithium and platinum land force its people to “take the pain”? While the people are taking the pain, who is taking the wealth?
Before elections: we had billions in mega-deals and investor commitments. After elections: this government is dead broke, in fact drowning in debt, so you must take the pain. We deserve a refund for all those foreign trips they took which yielded nothing.</blockquote>
