FC Platinum’s hope of clinching the 2024 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title has been shattered after they suffered a 2-0 defeat against Dynamos at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday.
League leaders Simba Bhora had earlier extended their advantage at the top of the table to nine points, courtesy of a 2-1 victory over CAPS United at Wadzanai Stadium on Saturday.
Following the MatchDay 31 fixtures, Simba Bhora have amassed an impressive 63 points, while FC Platinum, who occupy second place, have 54 points.
This means Simba Bhora now require at most one point from their remaining three matches to be crowned the 2024 PSL champions.
The match at Rufaro Stadium was decided by a two-minute blitz in the first half, with Emmanuel Ziocha and Valentine Kadonzvo finding the back of the net for Dynamos, leaving the Norman Mapeza-coached FC Platinum side stunned.
Speaking to reporters after the match, Dynamos coach Lloyd Chigowe revealed that they knew FC Platinum would be under immense pressure to score goals and secure the win to keep pace with Simba Bhora at the top of the table. He said:

We knew that FC Platinum would always come guns blazing. So, we allowed them to come forward and then we hit them on the counter and for sure we hit them.
We feel we could have done that on three or four occasions. But in the end, we played tactically good football, managed to absorb the pressure and lasted the distance, which was key for us.
This team has great potential if well-managed and, I think if all their welfare issues are attended to, and they don’t have any issues, I think they can go great guns against any side in this country.
You can see even the run that they had in the Confederation Cup, it proved that the performance today was not a fluke.

Mapeza conceded that his FC Platinum side failed to do enough to secure the win, as they struggled to create clear-cut goal-scoring opportunities throughout the match. He said:

We started well, but we gave away two soft goals. The first goal was a result of a mix-up from the set-piece and from that set-piece we ended up conceding.
The second goal was more of the same, pushing up and the offside trap wasn’t on. I think those were the only two moments that made us lose the game.
But overall, I thought in the second half we tried but we didn’t create enough opportunities.
But it’s a game of football. We have been fighting so hard since the start of the season and look where we are now.
I never thought we would be where we are today because we had so many issues along the way.
But I am proud of these boys. Some of these guys we played today, we brought them from Division One and already they are showing a lot of maturity.
So, I don’t have to blame the players for the loss. The guys worked so well; we just need to focus on the remaining three games.

Dynamos Derail FC Platinum's Title Charge

Former Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) champion, FC Platinum, has secured the services of highly-rated midfielder Polyester Shoko from TelOne, just a week after the club lured Devine Mhindirira from Highlanders.
Pure Platinum Play currently holds a five-point lead over the defending champions, Ngezi Platinum Stars, with 16 matches remaining in the season.
The Zvishavane-based club unveiled Shoko on Wednesday, ahead of the high-profile Platinum derby against Ngezi Platinum Stars this coming weekend.
Shoko, who joined TelOne at the start of the season after leaving relegated Sheasham, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Pure Platinum Play, according to <a href="https://www.newsday.co.zw/sport/article/200029743/fc-platinum-bolster-squad">NewsDay</a>.
Before his stint with TelOne, Shoko had played for Shabanie Mine and Midlands State University FC in the ZIFA Central Region Soccer League.
The addition of Shoko is expected to further bolster FC Platinum’s midfield, which already boasts the talents of Brian Banda and Juan Mutudza.
The club’s title charge will be put to the test when they host Ngezi Platinum Stars in a top-of-the-table clash at Mandava Stadium on Saturday.
Ngezi Platinum Stars have been the form team of late, winning their last seven matches. Their new signing, Obriel Chirinda, has been in fine form, scoring in each of the four matches he has played for the club.

FC Platinum Announces Six New Signings

Former Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions FC Platinum (FCP) have not renewed the contracts of most ageing players ahead of the 2024 season.
FCP have released more than half a dozen senior players and are expected to announce replacements in the coming days.
The players who have been released are captain Petros Mhari, Innocent Mucheneka, Perfect Chikwende, former Soccer Star of the Year Walter Musona, Raphael Muduviwa, Nomore Chinyerere, Gift Mbweti and 39-year-old Gift Bello.
Bello joined FC Platinum in February 2014 from Dynamos and he played over 300 matches for the Zvishavane-based club.
FCP spokesperson spokesperson Chido Chizondo on Wednesday, 10 January told Chronicle that the clear out was not necessary a rebuilding project. She said:
We are not rebuilding. It’s just that the coach has indicated he wants fresh legs and so there was no renewal of contracts that ended in December.
FC Platinum have, however, retained some of their key players from the previous season, the likes of Brian Banda, Jean Mutudza, Jarrison Selemani, Rainsome Pavari, Lawrence Mhlanga, Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya, Panashe Mutimbanyoka, Kelvin Mangiza and Hagiazo Magaya.
Pure Platinum Play won four straight league titles from 2017 to equal records set by Dynamos and Highlanders.
FCP’s dominance was broken by Ngezi Platinum Stars who won the premiership title for the first time in 2023, and FCP finished fourth, 11 points off the pace at the conclusion of the campaign.

FC Platinum Releases Eight Senior Players

Dynamos Football Club has advanced to the semifinals of the Chibuku Super Cup after defeating FC Platinum in the Quarterfinals. The match ended in a 1-1 draw at regulation time, leading to a penalty shootout.
FC Platinum missed two penalties, while Dynamos FC successfully converted all five of theirs.
FC Platinum initially took the lead with a goal by Selemani in the 66th minute, but Dynamos equalized through Keith Madera ten minutes later.
Denver Mundikumbuke Mukamba, a fan favourite, was only introduced during injury time.
In another match, Chicken Inn lost 1-2 to Black Rhinos.
Sunday’s fixtures include Herentals vs. Ngezi Platinum at the National Sports Stadium and Highlanders vs. CAPS United at the Barbourfields Stadium.

2023/24 PSL Results And Fixtures For Matchday 15

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions FC Platinum goalkeepers’ coach Tembo Chuma has reportedly abandoned his duties following an alleged fall-out with head coach Norman Mapeza.
Goalkeeper Petros Mhari has been taking his colleagues through their paces in Chuma’s absence.
The <a href="https://www.chronicle.co.zw/implosion-rocks-fc-platinum-technical-bench/">Chronicle</a> reported that Chuma returned to Zvishavane on Tuesday ahead of a meeting with the club’s executive either this Thursday or on Friday.
Mapeza and Chuma reportedly had a fallout when the technical team held a meeting sometime last month.
The coach reportedly demanded to know from Chuma why the team was conceding a lot of goals. By then, after 10 games, FC Platinum had conceded 11 goals. Said a source:

In his response, Chuma said that the reason why was because of inadequate pre-season preparations, but assured the head coach that as the season progressed, guys will pick up.
However, that wasn’t acceptable to Mapeza who stated point-blank that he cannot continue working with Chuma. That position came as a shock to everyone.

Chuma remains the only goalkeeper’s coach in the country to have produced five goalkeepers of the year in three different clubs inside a decade.
He was the goalkeepers’ coach of the following goalkeepers when they were voted PSL Goalkeeper of the Year: Ariel Sibanda (Highlanders) in 2012, Munyaradzi Diya (Highlanders) in 2013, Tendai Hove (ZPC Kariba) in 2014, Ariel Sibanda (Highlanders) in 2018, and Wallace Magalane (FC Platinum) in 2022.

Mapeza Clashes With FC Platinum Goalkeepers’ Coach

Highlanders Football Club (Bosso) defeated their neighbours, Bulawayo Chiefs, on Sunday afternoon to top the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) table. M Ndlovu’s goal in the 19th minute secured the three points for Highlanders.
In another match, Dynamos Football Club (Dembare) beat ZPC Kariba by three goals to nil, with goals from Chakona (1), Mudadi (2).
Hwange lost to Manica Diamonds, who secured their victory through a goal from Binzi in the 4th minute.
Green Fuel also lost to reigning champions, FC Platinum, with Mutimbanyoka scoring the only goal for the Zvishavane-based club in the 59th minute.
On Saturday, Cranborne Bullets defeated CAPS United by two goals to one, with goals from S Munhira and Manokore. CAPS United got their consolation goal from Manondo. 
Chicken Inn beat Black Rhinos by a goal to nil, while Sheasham played a nil-nil draw against Herentals. Simba Bhora drew with Triangle United in a 1-1 match, with A Manenji scoring for Simba Bhora and A Makopa for Triangle.
On Monday 05 June 2023, Yadah will face off against Ngezi Platinum at the National Sports Stadium. Ngezi have a chance to top the table if they win their game in hand since they are trailing Hilanders by two points.

Castle Lager PSL Results: Highlanders, Dynamos Win

Ngezi Platinum Stars climbed to the top of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) on Sunday after beating FC Platinum 2-0 in a match played at Baobab Stadium.
It was Ngezi Platinum Stars’ first win over their rivals at home since 2017.
FC Platinum have now gone five matches without a win. They have already conceded 11 goals in their first nine matches compared to 14 in the whole of last season.
Tinotenda Murasiranwa squeezed in the first goal after 34 minutes for Ngezi Platinum Stars after a goalmouth melee before another youngster Takunda Benhura netted Madamburo’s second goal in the second half.
Ngezi Platinum Stars are now on 17 points after nine games, with Highlanders, who have played a game less, in second position on 16 points, the same as CAPS United who have an inferior goal difference.
Manica Diamonds and Bulawayo Chiefs, who are 4th and 5th on the log standings respectively, have 15 points each.
In other matches played on Sunday, CAPS United were held to a goalless draw by Hwange at the National Sports Stadium, Triangle drew 1-1 against Yadah Stars at Gibbo Stadium while Highlanders were held to a goalless draw by Simba Bhora at Barbourfields Stadium.

Ngezi Platinum Stars Go Top With 2-0 Win Over FC Platinum

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League defending champions FC Platinum are hoping to knock CAPS United off their perch when the two sides meet at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.
CAPS United have kept clean sheets in all of their opening matches of the current campaign which has propelled them to the summit of the league.
Makepepeke, who are led by coach Lloyd Chitembwe, beat Manica Diamonds and were held to a goalless draw by Ngezi Platinum Stars in Mhondoro in their first two matches, respectively.
They then beat ZPC Kariba and Black Rhinos in the other two matches.
However, FC Platinum get into the high-profile fixture in mourning following the death of Platinum Queens’ netball star Sbekezelo Ncubewho died suddenly on Thursday.
Speaking to <a href="https://www.newsday.co.zw/sport/article/200010203/platinum-primed-to-burst-caps-bubble">NewsDay</a>, FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza said he hoped the tragedy won’t affect the players in tomorrow’s match. He said:

It hasn’t been easy for us. We lost one of our sisters from the Platinum Queens. We are trying to cope with the situation.
Everyone is down following the development. We have been preparing well. We know the challenge.
CAPS United have been playing well, playing brilliant football.
They haven’t been conceding. They are well organised in every department. It’s not to be easy. It’s all about mental strength.
My biggest fear is I hope the boys won’t be affected by what happened yesterday. We are going to try and get a result against all odds.

FC Platinum To Provide Litmus Test For CAPS United's Mettle

<a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Highlanders_Football_Club">Highlanders Football Club</a> defeated <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/FC_Platinum">FC Platinum</a> 2-1 in matchday 3 of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) played this Sunday at Barbourfields.
This is the first time Bosso has defeated the Zvishavane-based reigning champions in about ten years.  
Highlanders goals came from Stanley Ngala, a former FC Platinum player, and defender Peter Muduhwa. They scored in the 27th and 33rd minutes respectively.
FC Platinum scored their consolation goal in the second half.

PSL Results: Highlanders Beat FC Platinum

FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza said that his team is not ready to take part in the CAF Champions League and should use the current FIFA ban to build a team that can compete at that level.
Pure Platinum Play, who won the Premier Soccer League title in the past four seasons, is still far behind other regular CAF Champions League perennial contenders, according to Mapeza. He said:

It’s sad for our football but l have to be honest, as much as we want to compete in the CAF Champions League, we are still lagging behind.
If Zimbabwe was not suspended by FIFA we were going to play but deep down in my heart l know we are not ready for that stage. I have seen top teams in Africa and we are not at that level.
If you look at Morocco and where they are in terms of football, they are too far away.
What their national team did at the World Cup shows a clear picture of the work they are doing. We are still far behind.

We don’t want to go there when l still feel we are not there yet. We can talk of getting experience but do you think you can get experience when you get hammered 10, psychologically you all get affected.
The squad we had in 2018 l feel if they were still here we could have gone far but these guys we have now are still young.

Castle Lager PSL Soccer Stars Finalists Of The Year 2021 - 2022 Announced

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League 2022 champions FC Platinum (FCP) has dedicated the title to its fans.
FCP was presented with their fourth consecutive title on Saturday at Mandava Stadium.
The Zvishavane-based club finished the season with a 3-0 win over Cranborne Bullets.
FCP accumulated 75 points, with Chicken Inn finishing second with 63 points, while Dynamos came third with 58 points.
FC Platinum’s spokesperson, Chido Chizondo, said the club is grateful to its funds for their support considering the hardships they faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Said Chizondo:

FC Platinum Thanks Fans For "Unwavering" Support

Zvishavane-based FC Platinum (FCP) was crowned Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions on Saturday afternoon at Mandava Stadium.
Light rains engulfed Mandava Stadium during the trophy presentation that was done after the final whistle.
FCP was confirmed as the 2022 PSL champions a few weeks ago after opening up an unassailable lead at the top of the table but the coronation had to wait until its final game of the season.
Pure Platinum Play was on Saturday crowned the champions for the fourth time in a row, finishing the season in style after beating Cranborne Bullets 3-0.
Two of the goals were scored in the first half, by Walter Musona and Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya, and Panashe Mutimbanyoka scored the third goal in the second half.
Speaking to reporters after the match, Mapeza said the latest championship is more special. He said:

This was a special one because we did it with a relatively young squad.
In 2018, we had a fantastic squad but this time we had to fuse in some new players and it feels special.
Sometimes you won’t feel happiness because you are always working hard.
The second half of the season was all about hard work… it was about planning, and sourcing information about other teams.
This is a massive achievement for the club and it’s good for the community.

FCP has now won four PSL titles in a row, joining Dynamos and Highlanders, who are the only other Premiership sides to achieve that feat.
Pure Platinum Play is now the only side from outside Harare and Bulawayo to win four straight titles.
This one was also Mapeza’s fourth career championship title as a coach.

Results Of PSL Matches Played On Saturday 12/11/2022

The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (CLPSL) has rescheduled the match between FC Platinum and Cranborne Bullets FC set for Saturday, 12 November 2022.
The match will now kick-off at 1 PM, instead of 3 PM which was previously announced. This has been done to allow for the trophy presentation ceremony which will be conducted soon after this match. The venue of the match remains Mandava Stadium. PSL said in a statement:

FC Platinum made a slow start to the 2022 season after letting go of some of the club’s most experienced players but recovered to win their record-equalling fourth league title on the spin.
Club spokesperson Chido Chizondo recently told <a href="https://www.soccer24.co.zw/2022/11/08/all-set-for-fc-platimum-coronation/">Soccer24</a> that Pure Platinum Play will not be distracted by this season’s success as there is still more to be done. She said:

FC Platinum Versus Cranborne Bullets Match Kick-off Brought Forward

FC Platinum (FCP) will be officially crowned 2021-2022 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions in their last match of the season.
The Zvishavane-based club will host Cranborne Bullets at Mandava Stadium in their final match of the season, possibly on 12 November.
FCP will be crowned PSL champions for the fourth time in a row after clinching the league titles in 2019, 2018, and 2017.
There were no league matches in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
PSL spokesperson Kudzai Bare on Tuesday confirmed that Pure Platinum Play will be presented with the league trophy on Match Day 34. <a href="https://www.newsday.co.zw/sport/article/200002548/fc-platinum-to-be-crowned-on-final-day">She said:</a>

FC Platinum Confirmed PSL Champions For 4th Consecutive Season

Cranborne Bullets coach Nesbert Saruchera has tipped FC Platinum to win the 2021-22 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title, which will be the club’s fourth in a row.
FC Platinum have opened a two point lead at the top of the log after last weekend’s match-day 19 round of fixtures.
The Norman Mapeza-coached side, which hosts Bulawayo Chiefs this weekend, has won its last six matches to leapfrog Chicken Inn at the top of the league.
Saruchera believes the Zvishavane-based club, who have lost just once in their last 10 matches, winning nine, are the favourites. He said:

On current form, I believe the title is FC Platinum’s to lose.
The race features just the three teams at the top. One of them is definitely going to win it.
Although it’s too early to make a definite call, I don’t see any miracle happening.
I see the top position changing hands between the top three teams but FC Platinum have the momentum and if they can maintain their current form they will win it.

FC Platinum are now on 40 points followed by 2015 champions Chicken Inn two points behind and Dynamos five further behind in third.
FC Platinum could widen the gap to Chicken Inn to five points if they overcome Bulawayo Chiefs at Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane this Saturday.
Bulawayo Chiefs, however, won the reverse fixture 2-0, which is one of the three losses that FC Platinum have suffered so far this season.
FC Platinum’s only other defeats were against Herentals College and Ngezi Platinum Stars.

Nesbert Saruchera Tips FC Platinum For Title

The Zvishavane Town Council (ZTC) has leased Mandava Stadium to platinum miner, Mimosa Mine for 25 years.
This was revealed during a council assessment seminar held last week after the community requested to use the facility for their social sporting activities.
The community was left with no option but to look for other sporting facilities in the town.
Speaking to The Mirror, Zvishavane town council vice-chairperson Charity Mundoka said that the local authority was in the process of constructing another stadium. She said:

We know the shortage of sporting facilities in Zvishavane, but as we speak, we are in the process of constructing a stadium in Highlands. Mandava stadium was leased to FC Platinum for 25 years.

Mandava Stadium used to be a community stadium, but it has been leased to FC Platinum (FCP) since its inception in 2011.
FCP plays in the Premier Soccer League and is bankrolled by Mimosa Mine.
Another stadium in Zvishavane, Maglas Stadium, is the official home ground for Shabanie FC.

Zvishavane Leases Mandava Stadium To Mimosa

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has fined Highlanders US$6 000 for the violence and hooliganism which marred their match with FC Platinum at Mandava Stadium on 23 April.
The match was awarded to the defending champions on a 3-0 score, the PSL announced on Wednesday. The PSL said:

The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee has released the judgement in the matter involving Highlanders FC following acts of crowd trouble that took place at Mandava Stadium on Saturday 23 April 2022.
The club was found guilty of violating PSL Rules and Regulations and fined a sum of USD 6000-00 (Six Thousand Dollars).
The fine together with the costs of the hearing is to be paid within 15 days from the date of the judgment.
Further, the match has been forfeited and awarded to FC Platinum on a 3 nil score line.

The two teams were level 1-1 when FC Platinum was awarded a penalty by referee Kuzivamwari Jaravaza.
Jaravaza ruled that Highlanders defender Peter Muduhwa had fouled FC Platinum forward Walter Musona inside the penalty box with a few minutes remaining on the clock.
However, Highlanders players and officials contested the decision, arguing that the coming together of the two players had occurred outside the box and therefore merited a free-kick and not a spot-kick.
Highlanders supporters then invaded the pitch in protest, forcing the match officials to abandon the match.
FC Platinum who have been tied on 31 points with Dynamos before the ruling, moved to second in the Premier League with 34 points from 17 matches, one point behind leaders Chicken Inn.
Meanwhile, Highlanders remain in 10th position from 16 matches after amassing 20 points.

Highlanders Fined US$6 000 For Mandava Stadium Violence

FC Platinum head coach Norman Mapeza has criticised the Premier Soccer League (PSL)’s decision to take only a two-week break this month arguing that a four-week break would have been ideal.
PSL authorities announced on 1 June that the topflight league will take a two-week break after Matchday 17 fixtures played from 3 to 5 June and resume on 25 June 2022.
Speaking to NewsDay Sport after his side had beaten Cranborne Bullets 1-0 in Mutare on Saturday, Mapeza said:

The decision to go on a two-week break does not make sense. What’s the rush? Where are we rushing to? If we break for two weeks then what?
They should have given us the whole of June and then we come back in the first week of July.
Imagine I am giving them (players) a break after this game and they have to come back on the 14th.

The PSL did not give reasons for the break considering that Zimbabwe is currently banned by FIFA from taking part in international football tournaments.
In any case, the two-week break doesn’t necessarily coincide with the FIFA international break which runs from 30 May to 14 June 2022.
FC Platinum won their last four consecutive matches against CAPS United, Yadah, Triangle and Cranborne Bullets.
The platinum miners last tasted defeat against Herentals on 30 April.

Mapeza Criticises PSL Over "Short" Two-week Break

FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza said that his youthful squad has bigger ambitions than settling for a top-four finish in the 2022 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.
FC Platinum are six points behind league leaders Chicken Inn.
Speaking at his press briefing ahead of a potentially tough tie against Triangle FC at Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane this Saturday, Mapeza said:

We are not just fighting to finish in the top four, but we are playing to see how good the season ends for us.
FC Platinum had a lacklustre start to the season after letting go a number of senior players in a rebuilding exercise.

However, they have since revived their hopes of winning a fourth title on the bounce as the youthful players are gaining confidence.
Mapeza said Triangle, who are three points ahead of FC Platinum, cannot be taken for granted. Said Mapeza:

Mapeza Not Settling For A Top Four Finish

Norman Mapeza returned to FC Platinum on Thursday after a brief rest since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals last month.
Mapeza’s contract with the Zvishavane-based club expired at the end of December while he was with the national team and is yet to sign a new deal.
Reports suggest that Ngezi Platinum Stars are considering presenting a bid for Mapeza’s services after the club sacked head coach Rodwell Dhlakama.
Mapeza’s manager, Gibson Mahachi, said the former Warriors interim coach is yet to agree on fresh terms with FC Platinum. Said Mahachi:

He returned to Zvishavane today (Thursday) after a short break since they returned from the AFCON finals that were being played in Cameroon.
At this point, speculation is rife regarding potential moves. I can’t comment about that, but at this point, I can confirm that the coach is in Zvishavane with his employers.

FC Platinum goalkeeper <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Petros_Mhari">Petros Budro Mhari</a> has said he is ready to fight for the Warriors goalkeeper jersey hinting that he will be the first goalkeeper from now onwards if the coach gives him the chance to prove himself. 
Zimbabwe has in recent years been shuffling goalkeepers as those who were tried have not been convincing.
In the past 4 seasons, Mhari conceded 40 goals in 134 league games between the 2016 – 2019 seasons. Mhari is one of the most decorated players currently playing in Zimbabwe.
He has won the League title 3 times, Castle Challenge and Chibuku Super Cups. He led the team twice to the group stages of the CAF Champions League and has won more than 30 caps in the African Safari.
Analysts believe that his mental strength is one of his assets, and his commanding performances have underpinned FC Platinum’s recent success under Norman Mapeza.

FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza has said he is proud of his players’ fighting spirit after they drew 0-0 away against Angola’s GD Sagranda Esperance.
Said Mapeza:

They have been playing football regularly for the past year. The boys played really well despite us only training for three weeks. It was a massive performance from the boys. "I Am Proud Of The Boys" - Norman Mapeza

The Sports and Recreation Commission has allowed FC Platinum and Black Rhinos Queens, together with 11 other national representatives to resume training ahead of their international assignments.
The two clubs are preparing for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) interclub competitions.
Black Rhinos Queens is preparing to take part in the inaugural COSAFA Women’s Champions League set for Durban from the 27th of August to the 4th of September.
FC Platinum is set to be part of the CAF Champions league preliminary round matches set for the 10th of next month.
SRC has also approved Zimbabwe Cricket to host Thailand and Ireland in women’s One Day Internationals and T20 competitions between September and October.
The Zimbabwe Rugby Sevens side, the Cheetahs, both men and women, have also been allowed to resume training ahead of World Cup Qualifiers and the Dubai 7s.
Tennis Zimbabwe will also host China in the Davis Cup competition after the tournament was approved, together with the Zimbabwe Ladies Golf Open set for Royal Harare next month.
The approval of these 13 team assignments is expected to pave way for the resumption of other sporting activities in line with COVID-19 protocols.
