<a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Godfrey_Tsenengamu">Godfrey Tsenengamu</a> who leads the newly-formed Economic Emancipation in Zimbabwe (FEEZ) has said <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Zimbabwe_African_National_Union_-_Patriotic_Front">ZANU PF</a> leaders used party youths for t-shirts, caps, bandanas, and a promise to lead which never came.
Tsenengamu was speaking during a press conference in Harare Friday, where he launched the party’s manifesto which focuses more on youth empowerment. Tsenengamu said:

Some of us did not get this full opportunity to lead without interference. We were used and abused by our elders in our political parties to further and protect their interests and agendas and we were promised that we will lead tomorrow, so I want to tell you that your time as young people is now.
We were given promises which were never fulfilled, all we got were t-shirts, bandanas, caps, and a promise to a future that never came, so I am challenging you today that you must be firm.
You are going to see ZANU PF cars flooding your ghettos and your rural areas when they could not even afford to give you a single mask but they will make sure that they bring 5 million t-shirts, caps, zambias, scarves and bandanas so that each and everyone of you gets a t-shirts and so you can go and vote for them, this is how sad our situation is.

Tsenengamu was fired from ZANU PF last year after he took part in accusing senior party officials like <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Obert_Mpofu">Obert Mpofu</a> of running corruption cartels.

ZANU PF Used Youths For Caps And T-Shirts - Tsenengamu

Former Zanu PF Youth League political commissar Godfrey Tsenengamu on Tuesday announced the launch of a new political party that he will lead on an interim basis.
Tsenengamu said the Front for Economic Emancipation in Zimbabwe (FEEZ), with green as its main colour, will compete for political space with the ruling Zanu PF and the main opposition MDC Alliance.
During the launch at the new party at the Media Centre in Harare, Tsenengamu wore a green work suit and beret and sat in front of a banner branded: ‘Green Revolution We are the Game Changer: Prosperous and Corruption Free Zimbabwe in our Lifetime.’ He said:

Knowing that the current condition we face today is not natural phenomena but a product of unjust economic practices by organised blood-sucking economic vampires, cannibalistic cartels, corrupt, selfish and heartless capitalists and monopolists, I have together with some here decided to take a stand giving up the comfort and luxuries of our past associations to fight with many others for the sake of generations of current and the future.
We have so much confidence in the revolutionary capabilities of ordinary human beings to accomplish this.
</blockquote>
Tsenengamu vowed his party would campaign for a “successful execution of an economic revolution” adding that Zimbabweans had become “a sloganeering, politicking and voting populace paying less attention to the economic issues.” 
He criticised the fast-track land reform programme which he said had merely taken land from a white minority and given it to “an indigenous minority, largely a clique that associates with Zanu PF.”
Tsenengamu said President Emmerson Mnangagwa had come up with “sweet-sounding promises and pledges” to deal with corruption, yet he and his party “have done the opposite by protecting and befriending the corrupt.”
He railed against the Zanu PF government’s dealings with Chinese investors, claiming “authorities seem to have committed to handover the ownership of our God-given natural resources to foreigners who are on a looting spree with the aid of the government and leadership.”
Tsenengamu said neither Zanu PF nor the MDC Alliance offered a viable alternative to get Zimbabwe out of its political and economic crisis.

Former ZANU PF Youth Leader Tsenengamu Criticises ED At New Party Launch

The newly launched Front for Economic Emancipation in Zimbabwe (FEEZ) movement has notified the Zimbabwe Republic Police of its plan to hold a peaceful protest against corruption at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.
The protest comes amid allegations that the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, George Guvamatanga authorised the procurement of expensive face masks by Drax International LLC, a company which is reportedly linked to President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s son, Collins Mnangagwa.

<blockquote>RE: NOTIFICATION OF PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION AGAINST CORRUPTION AT MINISTRY OF FINANCE OFFICES 
The above matter refers
We, the Front for Economic Emancipation Zimbabwe (FEEZ) being a non- partisan and inclusive economic movement of the Zimbabwean citizens intends to hold a peaceful protest against corruption at the Ministry of Finance offices situated at New Government Complex along Central Avenue in the CBD.
This has been necessitated by the recent exposure of the scandalous purchase of COVID 19 consumables involving the Finance Ministry Permanent Secretary Dr George Guvamombe and a company called Drax International LLC.
The said development has prompted us as a citizens movement to seek to exercise our constitutional right by protesting peacefully We are aware of the Statutory Instrument put in place by the authorities to curb the spread of the COVID 19 virus.
As much as we appreciate the above measures by the authorities, but the Statutory Instrument cannot be used to silence us in the face of this sad development that threatens the very lives, the Statutory Instrument seeks to protect.
However, we cannot ignore to take all the necessary precautionary measures stipulated in the Statutory Instrument and all health regulations concerning the spread of the virus.</blockquote>
