Green Fuel coach, <a href="https://pindula.co.zw/Rodwell_Dhlakama">Rodwell Dhlakama</a>, said he believes that Raymond Uchena and McClive Phiri will find comfort in their team’s 1-0 victory over Dynamos on Saturday.
The two players missed the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League victory over DeMbare at Gibbo Stadium after losing their fathers on Thursday. Said Dhlakama:

It was a bad week for us because we wanted to play Dynamos with every player available for selection, but it was unfortunate that Uchena and Phiri lost their fathers.
I hope this win was enough to cheer up their spirits and the boys who had to fill their voids did well.
I was impressed with how the boys played, it’s not easy to get maximum points against Dynamos when you’re at the basement, but they showed character.

Dynamos defender Donald Dzvinyai failed to convert a controversial penalty awarded against Green Fuel.
It was the Glamour Boys’ third penalty in four matches.
Dynamos coach Herbert Maruwa blamed his players’ complacency for their defeat to a team in the relegation zone.

Green Fuel Coach Dedicates Win Over Dynamos To Grieving Duo

The ZIFA First Instance Body (FIB) has cleared Green Fuel Stadium to host Premier Soccer League matches starting next month.
The stadium is home to PSL debutants, Green Fuel Football Club.
Green Fuel Stadium is yet to host PSL games because its condition at the onset of the current PSL season didn’t meet the minimum standards required by FIB.
As a result, Green Fuel were forced to use Triangle United’s Gibbo Stadium in Triangle as their home ground for their first twelve rounds in the top-flight campaign.
<a href="https://www.soccer24.co.zw/2023/06/19/green-fuels-chisumbanje-stadium-cleared-to-host-psl-games/">Soccer24</a> reported that construction on some sections of the venue started at the beginning of the year, and most of the renovation work was completed last week.
Green Fuel on Sunday announced that FIB inspected the ground over the weekend, and cleared it to start hosting PSL games. The club said:

On a good note, Green Fuel has been allowed to host premiership games at Green Fuel stadium starting this coming month. The technical was there yesterday (Saturday) and approved the stadium.

Green Fuel’s first match at their Chisumbanje ground is expected to be against Chicken Inn on Matchday 14 after their trip to Bulawayo to face Bulawayo Chiefs during the first weekend of July (Matchday 13).

Green Fuel Stadium Cleared To Host PSL Matches

Castle Lager Premiership club Green Fuel fired coaches Lloyd Mutasa and Bekithemba Ndlovu on Saturday following a 2-3 loss at home to Ngezi Platinum Stars.
Mutasa and Ndlovu were fired after they failed to achieve the ultimatum that had been set for them before the game.
The Green Fuel technical department had been ordered to collect at least six points from three matches against Shesham, Ngezi Platinum Stars and Simba Bhora.
They managed to collect just a point from the encounter against fellow debutantes Shesham before losing to Ngezi Platinum Stars.
Mutasa was the technical director and Ndlovu was the head coach responsible for team selection, training sessions as well as game management.
Green Fuel chairman Fredson Moyo confirmed the development to <a href="https://www.manicapost.co.zw/breaking-greenfuel-coaches-fired-dhlakama-appointed/">The Manica Post</a> on Sunday. He said:

It is always sad to part ways but as a club, there is really nothing we can do because all we want are results.
We will soon be issuing an official statement but otherwise, it is a done deal.
Mutasa and Ndlovu are parting ways with GreenFuel, while Rodwell Dhlakama is taking over.

The Ethanol Boys lost 1-0 to Yadah Stars before drawing with Herentals FC. They then lost 2-1 to Manica Diamonds before suffering another morale-sapping 3-0 defeat at the hands of Hwange at Luveve Stadium in Bulawayo.
Green Fuel then grabbed another point against Sheasham last weekend.

Green Fuel Fires Coaches, Appoints Rodwell Dhlakama

Newly-promoted Castle Lager Premier Soccer League side Green Fuel has reportedly appointed former Highlanders assistant coach Bhekithemba Ndlovu as one of the assistants to head coach Lloyd Mutasa.
NewsDay reported sources as saying Ndlovu signed a contract with Green Fuel this week and was expected to start training with the club next year on 5 January.
Mutasa already has Joseph “Shabba” Takaringofa as well as former Dynamos, Black Aces and Caps United midfielder Albert “Dhalala” Mabika as assistant coaches.
Mutasa, a former Dynamos player, and coach guided Green Fuel to promotion to the top flight last season, finishing 12 points clear of second-placed Mutare City Rovers.
He has previously guided Kiglon Stars into the Premiership in 2007 and Highway the following year.
Green Fuel is the first Premier League team from Chisumbanje.
