Zimbabwean rapper <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Holy_Ten/">Mukudzei ‘Holy Ten’ Chitsama</a> has been confirmed as the father of the child he shares with model Chelsea Tariro Hlomayi through a DNA test, revealing a 99.9% probability of paternity.
However, Holy Ten has refused to pay Hlomayi’s demand of US$350 for child support, offering US$150 instead citing his inconsistent income and family responsibilities.
Hlomayi has threatened legal action to compel him to contribute more.
Holy Ten is currently on an international tour.
The news that Holy Ten has a son with Hlomayi came out in March when the rapper and Kimberly Richards officially announced their <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/2023/03/20/holy-ten-marries-kimberly-richards/">marriage</a>. 
Unverified reports claim that Holy Ten paid US$15,000 as the bride price for his fiancée in Bulawayo. There have also been rumours that Kimberly is expecting their first child.

Holy Ten Confirmed As Father Of Chelsea's Child

Hip Hop artist <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Holy_Ten">Holy Ten </a>has shocked music fans by claiming that award-winning dancehall star <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/images/cache/8/8d/Winky_D.html#:~:text=Winky%20D%20is%20an%20award,numerous%20countries%20around%20the%20world.">Winky D </a>is a snake longer than his dreadlocks.
The two collaborated on a song —Ibotso, from Winky D’s latest offering Eureka.
The song has been interpreted to be political, with a lobby group <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Economic_Empowerment_Group">Economic Empowerment Group </a>even saying <a href="https://www.google.com/amp/s/news.pindula.co.zw/2023/01/03/winky-d-holy-ten-collabo-winky-d-must-be-banned-from-performing-in-zimbabwe/amp/">Winky D should be banned from performing in Zimbabwe, </a>because of the song.
Holy Ten, who has previously said<a href="https://zero.pindula.co.zw/eureka-holy-ten-says-he-regrets-working-with-winky-d/"> he  regrets working with Winky D, </a>dissed the Kambuzuma-raised chanter while speaking on an online show The Episode. He said:

The man you are talking about (Winky D) is a snake longer than his dreadlocks. But even the serpent did not force the apple, which became a global disaster, into Eve’s mouth.  
The serpent spoke and Eve made a decision. So in this case, I’m Eve.

Asked if he would have preferred to have done a song with a different meaning with Winky, Holy Ten said:

I would have never done a song with Winky Gee, that’s me avoiding to be sued. I’m not stupid, I have done law and we signed contracts.

Holy Ten has been heavily criticized for his latest comments with award-winning journalist Hopewell Chin’ono advising the Anotobvawo Kune Vanhu hit-maker to learn from his ‘elders’. He said:

Winky D has been doing this music thing for decades, so you might learn something from engaging with him without dissing him.
Winky D is bigger, that is why everyone was happy to see him give you an opportunity to duet!

He Is A Snake Longer Than His Dreadlocks: Holy Ten Disses Winky D

Youth, Sports, and Recreation minister, <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Kirsty_Coventry">Kirsty Coventry</a> has been criticised for her silence when some groupings are urging authorities to ban <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Winky_D">Winky D</a> from performing in Zimbabwe for allegedly dabbling in politics.
Winky D, born Wallace Chirimuko, is under fire from some individuals and groups including the Economic Empowerment Group (EEG) over his song Ibotso he collaborated with Holy Ten.
The song describes Zimbabwe as a crime scene where the “powerful people” loot resources meant to benefit the common man leaving them in abject poverty. 
Opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) party spokesperson, <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Fadzayi_Mahere">Fadzayi Mahere</a>, has said Coventry, an Olympiques gold medalist, has failed in her role as a minister. 
Her remarks came after the EEG, a <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Zimbabwean" title="Zimbabwean">Zimbabwean</a> empowerment lobby group founded by <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Mike_Chimombe" title="Mike Chimombe">Mike Chimombe</a> after he was relieved of his post as <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Affirmative_Action_Group" title="Affirmative Action Group">Affirmative Action Group</a> (AAG) president, had urged the government to ban Winky D from performing in Zimbabwe. In a Twitter post seen by Pindula News, Mahere said:

Zimbabwean hip-hop musician, <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Holy_Ten">Holy Ten</a> has said he is regretting working with <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Winky_D">Winky D</a> in <a href="https://zero.pindula.co.zw/eureka-zimbabwe-is-a-crime-scene-brezh-malabas-analysis-of-winky-ds-ibotsho/">Ibotso</a>, a song which is on Winky’s latest album titled Eureka.
Holy Ten, born <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Holy_Ten">Mukudzei Chitsama</a>, cites the sensationalisation of the song by commentators, mainly journalists. In a Twitter post seen by Pindula News, Holy Ten said:

Activists, journalists, lawyers – Split opinions will not do any good for a brand that’s trying to serve &amp; save everyone so help me by not acting like I’ve picked a side. Do not politicize a project that I’ve considered a mere honor to be a part of. I regret it now honestly

The song, Ibotso, has been viewed by some as depicting Zimbabwe as a long-decayed society in which the residents naively hope things will miraculously change for the better.
Zimbabwe is a crime scene, said Brezh Malaba, a journalist, in <a href="https://zero.pindula.co.zw/eureka-zimbabwe-is-a-crime-scene-brezh-malabas-analysis-of-winky-ds-ibotsho/">his analysis of the song</a>. He added:

Corruption-induced poverty has unleashed devastating poverty on ghetto youths. Hunger has ensnared naive girls into a life of debauchery. There are artistes who conveniently choose to ignore these stark realities. 
Winky D has set himself apart.
In Ibotso, he lays bare the ugly underbelly of a long-decayed society which foolishly hides beneath a threadbare cloak of self-denial, in the forlorn hope of swiftly waking up from a prolonged nightmare. Where delusion meets deceit, victims abound.
The Gafa chants: “Vanotora zvevapfupi nekureba”. What comes next is epic. Holy 10, his eager apprentice, then intones: “Sekutamba sekuseka”. From that point on, the flow is infectious, irresistible, delectable.

Some commentators said Winky D should just join politics suggesting he was paid by the opposition to push the regime change agenda.
Winky D says he just mirrors societal issues affecting the common man.

Eureka: Holy Ten Says He Regrets Working With Winky D

United States-based Zimbabwean preacher, Passion Java has said Nelson Chamisa who leads MDC Alliance had hired upcoming hip hop artist Holy Ten to denigrate him adding that the opposition leader has no plan.
One of the lines in Holy Ten’s latest song – <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqfmRd4qE3A">Makuitaseyi</a>  (What are you up to now) – which also sounds like a diss to Enzo Ishal, suggest that Java was taking an unnamed girlfriend of another man just identified as Eddie.
Java’s remarks towards Holy Ten born Mukudzei Chitsama attracted criticism from Chamisa’s supporters with some urging to stop it!
Some reminded Java that his late mother, Senator Rambanepasi-Java who succumbed to cancer early this year was a member of the MDC Alliance led by Nelson Chamisa with some suggesting that she was a ZANU PF mole.
