Former ZANU PF Mashonaland West chairman Temba Mliswa has warned that the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) risks becoming a mercenary unit that can be paid to fight private battles.
Mliswa made these comments following the recent arrest of Owen Madondo, also known as DJ Ollah 7, for alleged cyberbullying. 
The allegations stemmed from remarks made by guest Mukudzei Chatsama, better known as Holy Ten, during a podcast, which Mudiwa Hood claimed caused him distress and humiliation.
However, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) decided not to pursue charges after determining that Madondo, as the podcast host, did not intend to harass or bully. 
The NPA said the comments were made by Madondo’s guest during a live broadcast, and therefore, Madondo could not be held responsible for the alleged harm.
Mliswa, sharing a picture of himself with DJ Ollah 7, suggested that some police officers might have been bribed to make the arrest. He wrote on X:

We are currently experiencing a wave of monied people paying the police to arrest their supposed adversaries.
The ZRP are reducing themselves into a mercenary unit which anyone can pay to fight private battles. We have seen the same with the Chimombe and Mpofu case.
The easy target would be to say it’s politics but it’s not. It’s simply someone with money using it to wage a private battle!

Mike Chimombe and Moses Mpofu have been in prison since June 2024, following their arrest on allegations of fraud. 
The arrest came after clashing with Wicknell Chivayo, during which they leaked conversations in which Chivayo allegedly boasted of having President Emmerson Mnangagwa in his pocket.

Mliswa Says ZRP Risks Becoming Mercenaries After DJ Ollah 7's Arrest

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) on Monday, 24 March, opted not to pursue charges against Owen Madondo, better known as DJ Ollah 7, following his recent arrest in connection with alleged cyberbullying.
The allegations were raised by Mudiwa Hood, who claimed that remarks made by guest Mukudzei Chatsama, also known as Holy Ten, during a podcast caused him distress and humiliation.
Despite this, the NPA concluded that Madondo, in his capacity as the podcast host, did not exhibit the intent to harass or bully.
The comments in question were made by his guest during a live broadcast, which led the NPA to determine that Madondo was not responsible for the alleged harm. Said the NPA:

While the complainant expressed a wish not to pursue the matter further, the Prosecutor General has the final authority in deciding whether charges are withdrawn, in accordance with NPAZ Prosecutorial Guidelines. 
Victims of crime or complainants do not have the power to end criminal court processes this decision rests with the Prosecutor General.

During a podcast interview with DJ Ollah 7, Holy Ten made explosive allegations against Hood, born Ian Mutandwa, and Uebert Angel, Zimbabwe’s Ambassador-at-Large to Europe and the Americas.
He claimed that Hood took a gun and condoms to church and that Angel repeatedly asked him to find young women for his personal pleasure.
Holy Ten also recalled an incident during a visit to Angel’s church, where he alleges that Hood showed him a gun and then revealed a stash of condoms from his bag. He said:

I swear I will never go back to that church again. You can even ask my crew. Those people are not who they claim to be.
I was first inspired to pray by Uebert Angel. I used to watch his sermons. But for him to turn into someone who asks me to find ‘slay queens’ was the worst thing ever.

Earlier reports suggested that Hood withdrew the charges after both Holy Ten and DJ Ollah 7 issued apologies.
However, the truth is that the State declined to prosecute DJ Ollah 7 because no crime was committed on his part.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) decided not to charge DJ Ollah 7 for cyberbullying after a complaint from Mudiwa Hood. The NPA said DJ Ollah 7 did not intend to bully. This was because the harmful comments were made by a guest on his podcast, not him. The NPA explained that victims can't end court processes, only the Prosecutor General can. Holy Ten accused Hood and Uebert Angel of bad things during the podcast. Hood later dropped the charges. The NPA didn't prosecute DJ Ollah 7 because they found he did nothing wrong.

National Prosecuting Authority Declines To Prosecute DJ Ollah 7

Zimbabwean rapper and businessman Mudiwa Hood says he is taking legal action against several individuals for cyberbullying, after being accused of being gay.
In a post on X, Hood said he is also filing defamation lawsuits against bloggers, podcasts, and social media pages that spread false information damaging his brand.
He added that legal action will be taken against individuals in Australia, seemingly referring to Zimbabwean socialite Susan Mutami. Said Hood:

It is high time we become responsible for our reckless actions and accountable for the harm and pain we inflict on others here on social media.
I have decided to take legal action by reporting several individuals and open dockets for cyberbullying crime under the PTC Act, against my person and Brand Mudiwa Hood.

Section 164B of Zimbabwe’s Cyber and Data Protection Act states:
<blockquote>
Any person who unlawfully and intentionally by means of a computer or information system generates and sends any data message to another person, or posts on any material whatsoever on any electronic medium accessible by any person, with the intent to coerce, intimidate, harass, threaten, bully or cause substantial emotional distress, or to degrade, humiliate or demean the person of another or to encourage a person to harm himself or herself, shall be guilty of an offence…

Individuals found guilty of cyberbullying can face significant penalties. Added Hood:
<blockquote>
I am also filing lawsuits for defamation of character against everyone including bloggers, podcasts, and social media pages who spread false information that caused great harm to my brand, and everyone who called me GAY/Ngochani/Ngito on any platform. I am not homophobic but I am not Gay, I am NOT one of them and I have NEVER been.
We have collected evidence and I have set a significant budget for this which I expect to recover from damage compensation.

In response, Mutami accused Hood of wasting his time by attempting to sue her and alleged that Hood regularly engages in inappropriate behavior with young boys under the guise of mentorship. Said Mutami:

You are wasting your time you stupid fool, I will take you and your cheap 2 dollar lawyers to the cleaners you stupid criminal, I will not back down on my claims.
You sodomize young boys all in the name of mentorship. I repeat u are a runner for the politicians. Uchadyirwa Mari yako mahara.

Mudiwa Hood is suing people who said he is gay. He also taking legal action against those who spread lies about him on social media. Cyberbullying is wrong and can have serious consequences. Mudiwa is fighting back to protect his reputation and brand. Someone called Susan Mutami is also involved in this issue. Mudiwa is not backing down and wants to get compensation for the damage. Musicians <a href="https://pindula.co.zw/Seh_Calaz">Seh Calaz</a> and <a href="https://pindula.co.zw/Baba_Harare">Baba Harare</a>, as well as social media personality <a href="https://pindula.co.zw/Night_Shadaya_Tawona">Shadaya</a>, have defended Executive Chairman and Founder of Nash Holdings Tinashe Mutarisi after he clashed with preacher-cum-ZANU PF apologist <a href="https://pindula.co.zw/Passion_Java">Passion Java</a>, and singer <a href="https://pindula.co.zw/Mudiwa_Hood">Mudiwa Hood</a> on social media.
Mutarisi lambasted Java and Hood, saying they were jealous of him for “the love and respect from the people of Zimbabwe” that he receives without putting any effort.
He also claimed that Java and Hood have continuously attacked him and his Nash Paints business “without any valid reason.”
Posting on Facebook, Seh Calaz, real name Tawanda Mumanyi, said he doesn’t really care who is right or wrong but will not support a fake prophet, adding that Java fakes his whole lifestyle. Wrote Seh Calaz:

Shadaya, Baba Harare And Seh Calaz Defend Tinashe Mutarisi

Posting on Facebook, Mutarisi said Java called him on Monday, 30 October, in the company of Hood claiming that he had been sent by higher authorities to decampaign him and his business.
However, Mutarisi has categorically denied Java’s alleged claims that he had been sent by powerful people, saying the eccentric pastor is an attention seeker. Wrote Mutarisi:

It is a lie as no one has authorized or sent them and it is simply their attention-seeking behavior.

They attempted to befriend me, but I declined to join their destructive cliques that aimed to undermine the values of our nation.
They have always desired a direct confrontation with me, despite my pleas for them to leave me alone.
Unfortunately, they have continuously attacked both me and my business without any valid reason.
Their actions stem from jealousy, as they are unable to attain the love and respect from the people of Zimbabwe that I effortlessly receive.
I am grateful to the people of Zimbabwe for their unwavering support, which has become a powerful shield against these haters.

In response, Java accused Mutarisi of being too emotional “like a woman who is going through her menstrual cycle”. He said:

Hood also responded to Mutarisi’s post, expressing bewilderment over the accusations. He said:

Despite previously jokingly saying that he could not quit beer as it would affect families in the beer industry, Mesi has now pledged to stop drinking. Musician Paradzai Mesi Quits Drinking Beer

Mudiwa Hood, a Zimbabwean gospel hip-hop artiste, has announced that he bought some furniture for sungura musician, Paradzai Mesi to cushion him from the bumps of life. 
In a Facebook post seen by Pindula News, Mudiwa whose real name is Mudiwa Mtandwa, said he bought furniture from Bruno Furniturez who had donated a bed to Paradzai Mesi. He said he visited and bought everything Mesi needed for his new house. Mudiwa added that contributions are handled by Mesi and his manager. He said:

Mudiwa’s donations to Paradzai Mesi started after reports that the “Huruva” hitmaker had been arrested for stealing some groceries from a local tuckshop. Mesi was found lying in the tuckshop. According to Andy, Mesi did not steal anything and was actually heavily intoxicated to the point where he could barely walk. Mesi has accepted that false information can be spread about celebrities and that they can be trolled. Alfred Andy narrated:

We were shocked with what is circulating on social media.
The story emanated on April 20 when Paradzai went on his usual drinking spree at a farm called Hermistone.
It was now late and he decided to go home. He met three guys who then lied to him that they wanted to take him home. They arrived at the complainant’s shop and misled him that they had arrived at his residence.
In that drunken stupor, the musician slept on the floor in the shop. He then woke up in the morning and noticed that he was at a shop and there were now a lot of people surrounding him. He was arrested.

Andy said Mesi was left in the shop sleeping, while the three had already looted the shop.
He was then arrested by members of the neighbourhood watch, but later the charges were withdrawn by the owner of the shop who noticed that he was innocent. Added Andy:

We later discussed the matter with the owner of the shop who later withdrew the charges. He went to Concession, Glendale police station, who then advised both parties to go back and talk it out and return  the following day.
So far, the stolen groceries have not been recovered. Paradzai could not resist to be taken home by the alleged suspects because he is a man of the people and everyone loves him, so he thought they were fans taking him home. Little did he know they ended up in a shop.

After news broke out on social media that the musician had been arrested, socialites and celebrities offered to help him with groceries. Businessman Mudiwa Hood <a href="https://zero.pindula.co.zw/chinono-supports-mudiwa-in-paradzai-mesi-saga/">gifted Mesi with a new suit</a> from his brand MH Luxury Suits and bought him groceries.
Mesi is unfazed by the allegations and is preparing for a show at Club Joy Centre at Makoni in Chitungwiza. They urge their fans to support them.

Mesi who leads the Njerama Boys had been arrested for allegedly stealing groceries, and Mudiwa gave him a new suit and groceries while recording the act.
Some people on social media think that Mudiwa Hood wasn’t compassionate and was humiliating Paradzai Mesi. However, Chin’ono believes that Mudiwa is actually helping to restore Mesi’s dignity by doing the donation publicly on the same platform where he was shamed before. He said:

Chin'ono Supports Mudiwa In Paradzai Mesi Saga

Uebert Angel Requests Permission To Conduct Sanctions Awareness Campaigns In Tertiary Institutions

Musician Mudiwa Hood( a.k.a name Mudiwa Ian Mutandwa) has pledged to buy valentine’s presents for single female junior doctors who aren’t in a relationship with anyone. A move that has been vied by some of his fans as a kind and considerate gesture.

Local Gospel hip hop artist, Mudiwa Hood this Saturday took Mr Chatikobo, the <a href="https://zero.pindula.co.zw/full-text-update-on-mudiwa-hood-and-headmaster-who-was-caught-stealing-maize/">teacher who was caught stealing maize, for a hair cut, shopping and lunch.</a>
Mudiwa posted on Twitter updating concerned stakeholders of the development. Recently, <a href="https://zero.pindula.co.zw/full-text-cash-groceries-clothes-and-other-donations-received-for-maize-stealing-headmaster/">Mudiwa initiated a crowdfunding initiative and a number of people responded with cash, clothes and other goodies.</a>

Social media personality Olinda Chapel, ex-wife to rapper Stunner has been warned to stay away from rapper Mudiwa Hood. The warning came from the rapper’s sister, Mahwindo, real name Wanisayi Mutandwa.
This came after Olinda had posted on her facebook page:

Mahwindo warned Olinda to stay away from Mudiwa saying that her brother was not desperate and had sufficient money to be independent.
