How Government Pensioners Can Buy Itel Cellphones on Zero Deposit WhatsApp bot

An addiction to smartphones can result in a range of challenges, which could be physical, psychological and social in nature, a consultant psychiatrist has said.
<a href="https://www.newsday.co.zw/thestandard/standard-people/article/200014645/mental-health-the-impact-of-smartphone-overuse-on-our-mental-wellbeing">According to Dr. Chido Rwafa-Madzvamutse</a>, one could be struggling with smartphone addiction if answers to the questions below are “yes”:

<li>Are you spending excessive nonwork or school-related time on your smartphone?</li>
<li>Do you fear being separated from your smartphone or do you panic if you cannot locate it for even brief periods of time?</li>
<li>Do you constantly check your phone even if it hasn’t given you notifications?</li>
<li>Do you panic if you run out of data or cannot access Wifi even for brief periods of time?</li>
<li>Are you neglecting important responsibilities and duties due to time spent on the phone?</li>
<li>Is your phone the first thing you interact with in the morning and the last thing you interact with at night?</li>
<li>Do you find yourself unable to resist using your smartphone even when in work meetings, in class at school or when spending time with family and friends?</li>
</ul>
The physical effects of smartphone addiction include poor sleep, fatigue, dry, irritated eyes, thumb or wrist pain and risk of physical injury when one uses smartphones in risky situations like walking in a busy street, driving, operating machinery or even cooking
The psychological effects of smartphone overuse include irritability or aggressiveness when cut off from the phone as well as distractions from school and work, poor concentration and poor performance.
It also increases the risk of depression and anxiety problems, particularly with the overuse of social media sites.
The relational or social effects include decreased meaningful social interaction with family and friends leading to feelings of isolation and loneliness.
There could also be relationship breakdowns as virtual relationships take precedence over real-life relationships.
Some tips about how to overcome smartphone overuse/addiction:

<li>Put your phone in an inaccessible place for set times to allow for non-digital activities and to sleep.</li>
<li>Monitor your smartphone usage.</li>
<li>Turn off non-essential notifications and consider deleting some social media apps off your phone and only using them on a laptop or desktop.</li>
<li>Take time off your smartphone and connect with your friends and family in a digital-free zone giving each other precious undivided attention.</li>

The Impact Of Smartphone Addiction On Mental Wellbeing

ZESA electricity outages and load-shedding are still a big problem in Zimbabwe, so how long a battery phone lasts is very important. Worse, there are a lot of new residential suburbs where house owners do not have electricity installed at all.
Pindula has compiled a list of phones with the biggest batteries available here in Zimbabwe.
It is important to know however that having the biggest capacity battery does not automatically mean the longest-lasting battery. The <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/2023/05/18/tips-taking-care-of-your-phone-battery-so-it-lasts-longer/">battery life is affected by a lot of things</a>. A phone may have a very big battery mAh but poor power management. With Samsungs, for example, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has the same 5,000 mAh size battery as Galaxy S22 Ultra, but it lasts much longer because of its more power-efficient Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
It is also common for budget mobile phones, such as itel and Tecno, to have higher battery-size lots of inbuilt apps always running that cannot be turned off. This uses more battery.

Its battery comes at 6 000 mAh, the same as its predecessor, <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/2022/010/05/itel-p38-pro-prices-in-zimbabwe-specs-full-features/">the Itel P38.</a>

The phone is the most expensive in the itel range coming at between $105 and $120. Itel P40 is widely available in Zimbabwe at itel Home shops in Zimbabwe.
<h2>Tecno Pova Neo  (6000 mAh)</h2>
Released in December 2021, the Pova Neo has a large 6000 mAh battery. This phone is still widely available in Zimbabwe compared to its successor, the Pova Neo 2 which was released in October 2022 (the Pova Neo 2 has a 7000 battery).
Tecno claims that the battery can last up to two days on a single charge.

In many ways, its features are quite similar to the itel P40 above. The price range of the Pova Neo in Zimbabwe is between $110 and $130.
<h2>Tecno Pova 3 (7,000 mAh)</h2>
The Tecno Pova 3 comes with a massive 7,000mAh battery. Though not widely available in Zimbabwe, this is a much more capable phone compared to the Neo above. It was released in May 2022.

<h2>Samsung Galaxy M62 (7,000 mAh)</h2>
The Samsung Galaxy M62 is a 7000mAh battery phone released in March 2021. It supports 25W fast charging. The M62 belongs in the group of the few Samsung phones that have 7,000 mAh. The others are the Galaxy F62 (released Feb 2021) and the Galaxy M51 (released September 2020).

It’s not a common phone in Zimbabwe but the price will range between $350 and $450. 
 
<h2>Doogee S89 (12,000 mAh)</h2>

Affordable Mobile Phones With The Biggest Batteries

Every now and again, a customer asks us about how long a phone battery lasts, and how much they should charge a phone soon after buying it.
People understandably want their phone battery to have a long life after every charge. They also want to maximise the number of years they can use the phone before the battery becomes useless.
Here are a few tips about taking care of your phone’s battery:
<h2>1. Do you need to charge your battery to full first after buying a phone?</h2>
Short answer: No. There’s a belief that before using a phone for the first time, one needs to charge it to full capacity. This is not necessary anymore with modern phones today. All modern phones bought over the last 10 years or so have a Lithium-ion battery. These batteries don’t need a full charge before using for the first time.
Most new phones will have about 60% battery. You can go ahead and start using it immediately without an issue. The advice however is that it is good practice to not let your phone drain all the way to empty. It is also good practice to not charge the phone to 100%. It is said that Lithium-ion batteries should not be maxed out as this makes them work harder. Keep the phone between 20% and 80%.
 
<h2>2. Is heat bad for your battery?</h2>
Yes. It is good practice to keep your phone in a cool and dry place. Heat and cold can damage your battery. Avoid leaving your phone in direct sunlight or in a hot car. This shortens its total battery life.
 
<h2>3. Is Fast charging good for your phone?</h2>
The rule of thumb here is that where you can, avoid fast charging. Fast charging can heat up your battery, which can damage it. Only use fast charging when you truly need to charge your phone quickly before leaving a place that has a charger.
 
<h2>4. How do you keep apps from draining your phone’s battery</h2>
A common belief is that closing apps when you’re not using them is good to maintain your battery. This is not true. Engineers at Apple and Google have all indicated that closing apps usually worsens your battery performance because your phone’s system may end up working more. As such, apps that claim to close apps you’re not using to save battery are likely not helping you at all
That said, there are things you can do within the phone to get good battery. These include: Turning off features you’re not using like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS.  Using a power-saving mode. Most phones have a power-saving mode that can help to extend your battery life. This mode will usually disable some features and reduce the brightness of your screen.
<h2>5. Don’t use your smartphone during charging</h2>
Using your phone while it charges is bad for your phone because it means you’re introducing more heat at a time when it’s already getting some heat from the charging. It is best therefore to avoid using it for heavy things such as playing gamings, editing videos, photos, and such. Light uses like playing music however should generally be okay.

TIPS: Taking care of your phone battery so it lasts longer

Nyasha Eusen, who was wrongly accused of killing Nyarai Round in September last year and had his murder case withdrawn, was on Thursday, 2 February ordered to perform 700 hours of community service for theft by a Harare magistrate.
He stole two smartphones from a Harare woman after he had told her he could repair them.
Eusen was released about two weeks ago after it emerged that he had nothing to do with Round’s murder, but the now-deceased was allegedly shot dead by ex-cop Jaison Muvevi.
Days after his release from remand prison, Eusen was spotted in a commuter omnibus by the woman, Chakaonei Matipedza, leading to his arrest.
He was taken to the Harare Magistrates Court where he admitted to conning Matipedza a Samsung Note 4 and Note 5.
Eusen took the two smartphones worth US$350 after lying to Matipedza that he was in a position to repair them. After taking the phones, he vanished.
After the conviction, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison by Harare magistrate Munashe Chibanda for theft of trust property.
The magistrate set aside 10 months of the jail term for five years on condition that he does not commit a similar offence within that period.
The court also suspended the remaining 20 months on condition that Eusen performs 700 hours of community service.
Eusen was also ordered to pay Matipedza $280 000 for the phones.
Allegations were that in September 2019 Eusan approached Matipedza at her workplace along Chiremba Road in Hatfield in Harare and told her that he could update the system of her Samsung Note 5 and Note 4.
Matipedza then asked her son, Zvikomborero Gonorenda, to accompany Eusan to the city centre where he would update the two phones’ systems.
On arrival, Eusen told Zvikomborero to wait for him at Joina City whilst he took the phones to Market Square for a systems update. He then disappeared.
Matipedza then spotted him in Epworth while aboard a city-centre-bound commuter omnibus on January 30 and informed the police leading to his arrest.
