Actress and radio personality <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Tinopona_Katsande">Tinopona “Tin Tin” Katsande</a> has said that she has been diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer.
She rose to national stardom when she featured in the soapie <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Studio_263" title="Studio 263">Studio 263</a> in the early 2000s playing the role of ‘Joyce Huni‘. She was a disc jockey at <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/ZiFM_Stereo" title="ZiFM Stereo">ZiFM Stereo</a> before her dismissal. She was rehired in February 2018 by the same radio station. 
She runs her own NGO called SpeakOut-Handinyarare.
She started her career in her teens as a model, having made Miss Mutare in 1997, and then she went on to become a Miss Zimbabwe finalist in that same year.
She went to California, USA, to study and advanced her modelling career for 9 years.
Upon returning from California in 1999, she got a slot as a television presenter on the Zimbabwe TV breakfast show, AM Zimbabwe which paved way for her acting career. 
She landed a role as one of the main cast members of the local soap opera, <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Studio_263" title="Studio 263">Studio 263</a>, in which she played ‘Joyce Huni’.

Former Studio263 actress Tino Katsande is now an Agripreneur, an occupation that has divided opinion among social media users.

<a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Kuda_Musasiwa">Kuda Musasiwa</a>, a musician and music producer, and former campaign manager for Advocate Fadzayi Mahere is one of the successful agripreneurship in the country.
Tino is producing and selling chicken eggs. Her photo below was shared on social media prompting varying responses.

<blockquote>This is so shameful, she should be pretending to be rich on Instagram &amp; stop all this honesty. Doesn’t she know being real will offend the majority that is so comfortable faking lives? I’m truly disappointed. </blockquote>
Another one suggested that she had fallen on hard times:

Others said there was nothing wrong about selling eggs adding that the Irvines family makes a living by selling eggs.

Former Studio263 Actress Tino Katsande Now An Agripreneur

Former Studio 263 actor, Tinopona Katsande has disclosed the challenges she faced in her quest for motherhood.
Writing on her Facebook page, Tin Tin, as she is known in the entertainment industry, revealed that she suffered from fibroids and endometriosis which can cause infertility. She wrote:
<blockquote>I have a gynaecological condition called endometriosis which is often misinterpreted as jeko/islumo in Shona /Ndebele or just a bad period pain every month by those that really have no idea.
Several years back I was told I would probably never be able to have my own child due to the level and severity of the condition.
Yes, medically I had given up trying to have a child, with dozens of surgeries done, all sorts of alternative remedies and medicines later and of course rotating pain management programs, oh and coupled with kumborambwa because “hauzvare” and all the derogatory names that come with that, I honestly was seriously contemplating a hysterectomy at 36 years old.</blockquote>
She further revealed that she gave birth to her first child in 2016 at the age of 36. She said:
<blockquote>I conceived and gave birth to my firstborn in 2016 at 36 years old.
It was a horrendous pregnancy with three fibroids growing with him in my womb but faith is faith and God is God.
I had a quick and safe natural delivery, another miracle to me, considering where the fibroids were and how they moved to make way for him to slide out the birth canal for a natural birth instead of the operation we had prepared for.</blockquote>

Former Studio 263 Actor, Tinopona Katsande Reveals Malady

Studio 263 actress and radio presenter, Tinopona Katsande told that Daly News that she is pregnant with another boy despite suffering from endometriosis. She said:
<blockquote>My baby is growing very well in his own sack but this time, the fibroids growing with baby are much bigger than the first time around … but my doctor says the baby is growing perfectly and for me, that is all that matters.
I will endure all the pain to see this pregnancy through and I have all the faith that we will pull through. It is worth it because I know my God is faithful to his promises to me.
The discomfort is perpetual and the search to find a pain management programme that lasts once and for all is always the mission but since the condition has no cure, one just has to condition themselves to accept it and keep trying to be as comfortable as possible.</blockquote>
Katsande, however, refused to disclose the name of her partner and unborn child’s father insisting that she intended to protect her privacy as much as possible. She said:
<blockquote>I am very fortunate to have a loving, caring and supportive family system, close friends as well all as my fan base too and when I announced my pregnancy to my fans and fellow endo sisters … I was overwhelmed by the responses and magnitude of such love, celebration and well-wishing.</blockquote>
