DJ Tamuka is a Zimbabwean music producer who has produced hit songs for EX-Q, Ammara Brown and Simba Tagz to mention but a few. He is Military Touch Movement's in house producer.

Background

He was born Tamuka Mponda-Makuluni. DJ Tamuka is married to Simelokuhle Mangena and they have a child called Mazvita.[1]

Career

DJ Tamuka started music after his O’level studies in 2006 and is a self-taught producer. He started off making beats on Fruit Loops at a studio in Mkoba 3. In 2007 he started deejaying at bars in Gweru until he met Daddy K (Farai Kanengoni) in 2009 and then started deejaying at a more professional level in top clubs in Gweru.

In 2010 he was producing music for Black Face Entertainment before he teamed up with Oskid in 2012 to form Zim Boys. He moved from Gweru to Harare to join Kenako Music after Oskid called him and said they needed a second producer. He then left Kenako to join Jah Prayzah's JP studios in October 2016.[1]
