Friday “Breakdown’’ Phiri is a former Zimbabwean footballer and football coach who played as a striker for Caps United Football Club and the senior national football team, The Warriors. After retiring from playing football, Phiri went into coaching which saw him taking charge of the Young Warriors in 2011, and teams such as his former club Caps United. He passed away in October 2017, after succumbing to liver cancer.
