Career
The striker started his career with DT Africa before he was bought by CAPS United Football Club. The player is said to be very versatile that he can play in almost in any position.[1] Bulaji went on to play for Caps United but he did not have an outstanding season with the club which saw them underperforming for most of the season. At the end of the 2014 season, Bulaji joined fellow city rivals Dynamos Football Club for an undisclosed amount on a two year contract.[2]
The DT Africa Debacle
The player was tied to DT Africa through a contractual obligation which was likened to slavery in certain sections of the media. The contract stipulated that the player could only leave the club upon the payment of a buy out of 300 000, yet the club was only prepared to pay him $120 a month, non of which he received.[3] At the time of penning the deal, Bulaji was still a teenager. The deal was also said to be renewed automatically every two years if the player does not move to a foreign club. The matter was brought for consideration by ZIFA Player Status Committee.
