Kimberly Mabika is a Zimbabwean TV presenter, actor, poet and an upcoming Jazz and blues musician (Afro Poetiq mind), motivational speaker, part time hair dresser and a Sunday school teacher. She is well known for presenting on Young Gifted And Talented (YGT) on ZBC TV.
Background
Kimberly is the last born in a family of five. She is the only daughter of Mr L Mabika and Ms C Matyatya.
Career
She began her career as a TV personality in 2011 when she was doing her O Levels and before that she used to feature whenever ZBC visited her school. Besides being a TV Personality, she has also ventured into the film industry in 2014 when she played the role of "Chenai" in a local drama called "The Other Brother". The very first time she acted was in 2012 at a filming and directing workshop that was organised by UNICEF and Zimbabwe Union of Journalists (ZUJ).[1]
Kimberly is also into poetry and goes by the name AfroPoetiq Mind. Besides being an artist, Kimberly, has an interest in Accounting.
Trivia
Most people think Kimberly is Charles Mabika's daughter and attribute her success story to that wrong notion. She has been strong enough to being told that knowing very well she has done a lot to deserve her success than it being owed to someone who is a public figure but was not a catalyst to her success. She however feels for her real father whom she feels might be hurt by the words for sometimes they would be said in his presence when they will call her, "Hesi mwana waCharles Mabika (Hi, Charles Mabika's daughter)".
