Likhwa OkaNcube is a talented, Zimbabwean born poet who specialises in performance poetry.
Background
Likhwa was born on 26 November 1987 at Nkayi District Hospital.[1] A good athlete, specialising in Shot put and the 400m race. Getting many District and Provincial accolades in those disciplines.
Educational Background
He did his primary education at Nesigwe Primary School in Nkayi between 1995 and 1996 before moving to Mgombane Primary School, in Nkulumane, Bulawayo from 1997 to 2001. Likhwa Ncube then proceeded to Mtshabezi High School between 2002 and 2007 and at some point he was a prefect. He holds a Diploma in Quantity Surveying from Bulawayo Polytechnic
Career
Likhwa is a prominent poet acclaimed for his poetry skills. In his career, he has been nominated for various awards locally. The talented poet has also collaborated with like, Khulekani "Khuxxman" Bethule, Albert Nyathi, Duduzile Sibanda and Gregory Ncube. Besides poetry, he also ventures into music occasionally and also has two albums to his name.[2]
