Malindi Station Safari Lodge

Malindi Station Safari is a private lodge at the borders of Hwange National Park in Hwange. The lodge offers accommodation in restored railway carriages in a prime safari concession - 5 minutes drive via Makwa Pan into Hwange National Park.

Visitors Guide

International flights from Johannesburg land daily at Victoria Falls Airport, from which Hwange is only a 2 hour drive away. There are charter and schedule flights from Victoria Falls to Hwange Airport - only a 35-minute flight. There are daily flights from Harare to Bulawayo and every second day from Harare to Victoria Falls.

Road transfers can be arranged from both Victoria Falls and Hwange Main Camp. It is possible for guests to self-drive to the camp in offroad cars, maps are available if required.

Background

The lodge comprises an open-plan dining area overlooking two waterholes. A jacuzzi type plunge pool is located close to the communal lounge/dining area to help guests relax.
