Raphel was born on December 3, 1993 in Harare and is the first born in a family of three children.[1] He did his primary at Chiedza Primary in Norton before moving to St Eric High School for his ordinary level and Pamushana High for his advanced level. He is married to Khange Sibanda.[1]

Football career

It is said that Raphel started playing soccer when he was still in primary school before he joined CAPS United Football Club Academy between 2007 and 2008.[1] He also played soccer at high school after which he joined Platinum juniors where he eventually broke into the senior team. He played his premier league debut against Dynamos Football Club, a match in which he was also red carded.
