Background
Rebel was born Miack Godknows Ziwira on the 16th of March in 1994.[2] He was born at Edith Opamel Hospital in Harare. He grew up in the iconic township of Mbare in Harare, Zimbabwe.[1]
Dancing career
Rebel entered the arts industry as a dancer. He was a member of Legendary Sounds choreography team where he shared the stage with the likes of Smiley and the celebrated Tanzanian Bobby the dancer.[1]
Music career
Rebel Sharpshooter began his music career in 2013 when he produced some singles with Chill Spot Records under the guidance of Levelz and DJ Fantan. He recorded his first track at Chill Spot Records and it was titled "Kwatabva Kure" under the Pure Niceness riddim. In 2014, Rebel made great strides when he sought the management services of a Star Alliance Media run by a Zimbabwean South African- based Tatenda Musambasi.[1] He is now working independently with Arnold Kamudyariwa, Rodger Kadzimwe, Tatenda Musambasi and Tafadzwa Mandaza as management team.[2] His music style is a sort of urban edgy with a twist hardcore appeal; One he calls dancehall meets urban pop rock culture.[2]
