Samson Choruwa was a talented Zimbabwean footballer in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League playing for Harare Giants Dynamos Football Club. He is currently coaching a Division 3 team Glen View Stars.[1]
Background
Samson Choruwa attended Churchill High School for his secondary school education.
Career
Choruwa's professional football career kicked off at Dynamos Football Club in 2001 where he proved to be a very talented midfielder. He was recruited from the junior ranks of the team by the then former Dynamos coach Moses Chunga. He was part of the 2002 Dynamos Football Club Kidznet team that had talented young players that included Norman Maroto, Eddie Mashiri just to name a few. His career was cut short in 2002 after suffering a career ending knee injury after a challenge from Godfrey Dondo of Masvingo United Football Club at Mucheke Stadium.[2] In his coaching career he has produced talents like Tawanda Macheka who is currently playing for Dynamos Football Club as a striker.
