St John's Preparatory School is a privately run academic institution in Harare, Zimbabwe. It has classes from grade one to grade seven.
Background
St John's Preparatory School was founded by Peter Hickman and Barbara Hickman at their home in the leafy suburb of Borrowdale in Harare in 1956. It began as a small family school with only 13 boys enrolled. The school soon began into a viable private school with a total of 120 students from grade 1 to 7.
The School
St John's Prep School focuses on identifying pupils' academic, sporting and other abilities of their students. It has thus equally invested in both expertise and infrastructure that allows scholars to reach greater heights in their respective specialities.

The Parent Liason Committee also works with the school administration especially in the school's developmental projects.
