Details of the Accident
The Harare bound bus was travelling from the border town of Beitbridge when it overturned 65 km south of Harare in Featherstone killing ten people and injuring dozens.[1] The bus was carrying mostly cross border traders who had gone to conduct business in neighbouring South Africa. A police spokesperson told the media that six people died on the spot while four others died on their way to hospital after the accident in Mashonaland East Province.[1] The bus was carrying mostly cross border traders who had gone to conduct business in neighbouring South Africa.
