Background
Legion was born Wilton Isheasnesu Doba on 4 February in 1990 in Gweru in the Midlands Province of Zimbabwe.[1] He attended Gweru Polytechnic and Gutu High School.[1]
Music career
Legion rose to fame in the Gweru town being one of the few Zimdancehall artists to emerge from the town. Due to his intimate attachment to his hometown, he has performed at various local events such as the Gweru Summer Splash in 2014 which was organised by Chipaz Promotions.[2] He has also performed on international platforms in countries such as South Africa.[3] In 2014, he composed a song for the city of Gweru after it turned 100 years.[4]
