Makwinji "Kwinji 15" Soma-Phiri is one of the most talented strikers to have played for the Glamour boys. Makwinji is one of the very few players to be considered legend by both Highlanders Football Club and Dynamos Football Club
Career
Kwinji 15 made his name in the local footballing circles through his goal scoring prowess, he was also popular for scoring goals with his head.[1] Makwinji played for two top clubs in Zimbabwe and was part of Dembare's all star line up 98 which included other veterans such as Ernest Chirambadare, Stewart Murisa, Masimba Dinyero and Stanley Chirambadare. Soma-Phiri and company went on to play in the final of the champions league although losing to ASEC Mimosas of the Ivory Coast under dubious circumstances.
